We are actually able to assemble up to 48 Mio. SMT components p.a. Printed circuit boards with elements mounted on one or both sides are manufactured up to a panel size of approx. 450x400 mm². Up to 120 feeders and 120 different components can be attached or mounted by an automatic machine and so 240 components can be handled in-line at one time. The most frequently processed components are 0402 and 0603 sizes and they meet the appropriate pitch clearance for circuits. The preparation work for new mounting orders is restricted to acquiring paste printer or adhesive templates, programming the automatic machines and setting the soldering profile. We offer low flat rates for this work. Once we have ensured the availability of the materials, we supply our customers using very fast processing times. IK Elektronik stocks all the resistance and capacitor values for 0402 and 0603 components and many values for 0805 components or inductors. Our extensive stores of circuits, semi-conductors, filters, connectors also enable us to tackle your order quickly. In order to meet the high quality standards and the special demands of high frequency components, the green light has to be given before the mounting work on each production lot can start. After the SMT assembly process, certain components are often mounted using the through-hole technique (THT) with THT soldering units or this work is carried out manually if the lot size is small. Thorough tests are carried out subsequently to test the functions of the mounted components using the appropriate inspection equipment for the product or this work is carried out at a laboratory workstation if the lot size is small.
