Remote control systems open up a broad range of applications for
wireless solutions, e.g. for vehicles or locking systems. In this
field, we nearly always use proprietary solutions. Particular attention
must be paid to encoding the information being transmitted and
providing a long serviceable life for battery-powered transmitters. The
particular challenge for developers involves coping with what are
usually tiny components and difficult antenna locations.
IK Elektronik has developed a number of wireless remote control units
and systems for keyless entry, alarms or locks and produces some of
